UK Wedding Videographer

BRISTOL | SOMERSET | THE COTSWOLDS | GLOUCESTERSHIRE | DEVON | CORNWALL

Despite the fact that I’ve been involved in filmmaking for most of my adult life, I never actually planned on being a wedding videographer. If you’d asked me years ago what I’d be doing now, I would have given you a completely different answer.

It all started as a favour. A close friend was getting married, and they asked if I could bring my camera along—nothing formal, just capturing a few moments here and there. I wasn’t a wedding videographer, but I loved filmmaking, so I said yes.

I remember the day so clearly. The joy, the laughter, the sheer energy of it all. The couple were completely swept up in the moment—the months of planning, the people they loved most in the world all in one place. It was a brilliant day, full of little moments that felt too good to be fleeting.

So, I filmed. Not as a professional, not as someone with a job to do—just as a friend who wanted to bottle up a bit of that magic.

And then, not long after that wedding, something happened that changed everything for me.

Someone who had been there that day—someone I’d hugged, laughed with, and shared drinks with—was suddenly gone. Just like that. And suddenly, that wedding video—the one I had made just as a favour—became so much more than just a wedding video.

It became a memory to hold onto.

My friend clung to that film. It was one of the last times their loved one had been happy, full of life, dancing terribly and laughing until they couldn’t breathe. That video wasn’t just footage anymore—it was proof of a moment that would never come again.

And then I had this realisation.

We spend so much time planning weddings—picking the perfect flowers, the perfect venue, the perfect dress. But once the dress goes away and the last of the cake is eaten, the only thing that truly lasts is the way you felt on that one, very special day. All the love, laughter, tears and terrible dance moves. This is what I truly wanted to capture. Not just a wedding video, but a time capsule. Something real. Something you can step back into years from now and feel everything all over again.

The love, the laughter, the happy tears, the silly dance moves.

From that moment on, I knew this was the kind of story I wanted to tell with my camera. Not just wedding videos, but time capsules—something real, something that lets you step back into that day and feel everything all over again.

Now, every wedding I film is personal. I don’t just turn up, hit record, and piece together a highlight reel. I want to know your story. The little things that make your love different—the way they reach for your hand when no one’s looking, the private jokes, the moments you don’t even realise are precious until years later.

Because one day, when the music has faded and time has moved on, I want you to be able to press play and go right back to that moment.

To see it. Hear it. Feel it.

That’s why I do this. And if I get to be the one to tell your story, it would be an absolute honour.
